McKaig Nature Center

McKaig is a favorite of mine, with great creek access and lots of fun trails. Some fun things at these trails include:

Multiple bridges over a creek.
Both steep and flat trails.
Fun switchback trails.
Several relaxing creek spots.
Over 3 miles of almost completely shaded trails.

This network of trails is low-stress, easy, and fun for all ages. Parking for the main entrance is located directly next to it a Roberts Elementary School.
